Position: K-12 Support Tutor

We offer a comprehensive program designed to help aspiring athletes achieve their dreams of becoming professional footballers or securing sports scholarships to further their education. Our unique approach blends intensive football training with a challenging academic curriculum powered by the globally recognized K-12 system, delivered online through EduWW.

Student-athletes benefit from a structured classroom environment and personalized support from highly motivated and qualified tutors, ensuring academic success alongside athletic excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized one-on-one and group tutoring to students ages 8 to 18 in subjects including Math, Science, English, and Social Studies.
  • Develop and implement teaching strategies based on each student’s learning style and academic goals.
  • Evaluate students’ strengths and weaknesses and create customized learning plans.
  • Monitor progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and EduWW teachers about student progress and development.
  • Use a variety of teaching aids including textbooks and multimedia resources.
  • Prepare practice tests and assignments to help students prepare for exams.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and feedback.
  • Occasionally drive students to football practices and matches.
  • Maintain schedule flexibility.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • English fluency (preferably native); other languages are a plus.
  • Patience, empathy, and adaptability to various student backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Subject matter expertise in various K-12 subjects.
  • Proficiency in using a range of teaching materials and resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in K-12 education.
  • Teaching certification (preferred, not required).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Clean criminal record.
  • Schedule flexibility.
